Improving Cyber Security in Goverment Agencies

In the last few years, it has been shown that the idea of having a small team of ICT/Cyber experts while keeping the rest of the employee database unrelated to Cyber is not suitable anymore. All employees will have to contribute to the cyber security of their organisation. The problem is that all companies are now individually experimenting on how to achieve this. As all government related organisations are tied to more rules than normal, they have trouble adapting to new changes.

To solve the problem, it is required to look in depth at the organisation in question. As reforms in government agencies have been found to be troubling, the solution will be sought in the small scale opportunities. For this reason a series of small scale improvements in the form of policies combined with technology will be presented. The combination of this series is the solution. An example of a small scale solution could be special USB's that have a time limit before deleting all stored information, this would prevent missing USB's from leaking info.
