Fast train network

Faster trains require a lot of distance to gradually reach top speed. They do this because of the allowable G force for the passengers inside the vehicle. It is for this reason that it would be unlikely to implement hyperloop for national travel in Europe.

Why can we not speed up the current train system by introducing the idea of a highway where the main train line runs outside the station and the stations become exits. Individual train cars connect and disconnect from a main conductor car that runs continuously. Thus taking all the benefits that trains used to have (no traffic, not having to drive yourself, removing most of the human error) and adapting them to our new modern standards of mobility.
